Course Description:
This course will provide participants with an overview of the various finish options and technology available in modern kitchen design and factors, such as durability, function, and lifestyle, aesthetics and external environment, which should be considered when selecting kitchen finishes. Case studies of worldwide architectural projects in which material selections, hardware and integrated appliances support harmony, clean lines and integrated living spaces will be presented during this learning session. Kitchen projects which highlight the architectural dialogue between form and function as the theme for both the interior and exterior environments will be presented.
